The Micro-Sphere laboratory is equipped with classical analytical machines, one of which is a new FT-IR of Perkin-Elmer. Micro-Sphere is also equipped with stability ovens after ICH Guidelines 25°C, 60% rH and 40°C, 75% rH. In collaboration with Micro-Macinazione's laboratory, a particular section is dedicated to the analysis of powders by laser diffraction technique (dry or wet cell equipment). For particles which size is < 1 µm analysis are performed by Photon Cross Correlation Spectroscopy. All machines are by Helos Sympatec.
A section is dedicated to the analysis of fine powders by a vertical Andersen type impactor and by a New Generation Impactor of horizontal type. Powder analysis are also performed by mechanical sieving.
